Joseph Cerniglia

Joseph Cerniglia, Chef Joseph Cerniglia Campania Restaurant in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, was found floating in the Hudson River. In 2007, he appeared in Season 1 Episode 9 Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares. As for the series, one of the things that strikes you is how little affection Ramsay garlic food of southern Italy, or by habit Jersey to serve large portions, allowing customers to take home bags of dog. In a one-on-one with Cernglia, renovated dining Ramsay says, “The only thing you will not smell when they come here is garlic.”

In a disturbing prediction using a metaphor, Ramsay said: “Your company is about to [beep] to swim across the Hudson River.” It is conjectured that the cook may have jumped off the George Washington Bridge. Cerniglia, 39, was found yesterday afternoon in the water near the 145th Street pier in Manhattan. He is survived by his wife and three children.

The episode reveals that the restaurant was full of debt. Yelp and Chowhound reviews indicate that the place has not improved much after the cataclysm visit Ramsay (although there were a lot of rave reviews, too.)

Ramsey needs to return to Campania in Fairlawn, New Jersey had gone to Campania in the past, the food was very good, but stopped going for the bad service. Decided to go back after seeing that Chef Ramsey had straightened the place. The service was so bad that we’ll never go again! Customers around us were upset and complaining and I doubt they ever will either. The waiter was distracted and stopped and looked around trying to tell us the specials. We had to ask twice for bread and took over 45 minutes for our course in first out. Then my order salad was a bright red stain on the side of the plate, but it looked like blood. The waiter agreed and carried out a fresh salad. My mother had ordered the muscles that were very good, but half of the empty shells and never gave me a separate plate for the shells. It took another 45 minutes for the main course. We had asked for a little oil over the bread a few times while we waited, but never got it. When asked about the dish the waiter told us that it was silver. After another 20 minutes asking again about our main course, we were told that the Penne what was going on so long. Penne We did not order, nor to do so. I ordered the chicken dish with sausage and mushrooms, but received another chicken dish that I liked. There was no option to return by the time you have taken. The restaurant was full of people waiting to enter, when he became an empty table that took 20 to 25 minutes to turn over the tables. Our reservation was honored on time, but the table next to us said they had a reservation for 7 pm, but did not get seated until 19:55 The food was not as good as it had been in the past and hard to believe that the service was worse.
