Jorja Fox, It’s been two years since Jorja Fox CSI again, and considering her long history with the CBS crime procedural and the enormous popularity of her character Sara Sidle, you’d be forgiven for thinking that the actress was already a regular series.
Not so, TVLine revealed this week, as Fox has just been promoted to regular status, coinciding with the beginning of the twelfth season of CSI in the fall.
Fox, 43, who used to be a series regular during the first seven seasons of CSI, however, she left the show at the beginning of season 8. There were occasional guest appearances, of course, but even after she returned to the show on a recurring season 9, Fox chose to remain a special guest.
But no more! When the 12th season opens on September 21, Fox will be a member of the cast full-time again.
It is only the latest in a series of major changes to the CSI. Earlier this year, Laurence Fishburne, revealed that he would withdraw from the series, and last week, CBS announced that Ted Danson was elected as the new shift manager of CSI.
