Jordan Retro 4, Release Reminder: Air Jordan IV “White Cement”

Today is Michael Jordan’s 49th birthday. Wow… It’s pretty hard to imagine MJ is almost 50. The only thing I ever related 50 to with Jordan was points scored and maybe a 50 inch vertical leap.

Nonetheless, MJ is getting up there and what better way to celebrate his birthday than with a great Jordan Brand purchase. Tomorrow marks the release of one of the most popular models in the Air Jordan IV “White Cement”.

Originally released in 1989 and designed by the incomparable Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan IV is an iconic shoe. It was the first Jordan shoe available on a global scale and catapulted JB to international success.

This 2012 retro does slightly differ from the OG version but is still a remarkable shoe. And tomorrow Feb 18th, sneakerheads will flock to online stores and brick and mortars alike to add a pair to their collection. Priced at $160 USD the “White Cement” will sell fast so make sure you are prepared to cop this history shoe in the AM.
