Mr. McGowan is quoted by the Daily Mail, saying: “From very young I always interested in natural history and have been raised between agriculture, hunting and shooting communities in the Dorset countryside meant that he was right in the middle of everything.
“Everywhere I looked there were dead animals, fish that had been captured, pheasants that had been shot and the animals that had been hit on the road so naturally be drawn to nature and how it worked.
“I used to cut the dead animals to see inside and when I did all I could see was fresh, organic meat, rather than the kind he had seen in supermarkets. So I’ve never seen a problem with cooking and eating . ”
Mr. McGowan, who has never fallen ill from your diet, says his specialty is pan crane flies, while the owl and the rat curry fries are also popular.
