John Wooden has authored a lecture and a book about the Pyramid of Success. The Pyramid of Success consists of philosophical building blocks for winning at basketball and at life.

According to John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success, he put “Success” at the apex of his pyramid.

“The first two blocks of the pyramid are the two corner stones because to be strong, you have to have a strong foundation”, said John Wooden.

“The cornerstones of success to me, in anything are hard work and enjoy what you’re doing. So one cornertsone is industriousness and the other is enthusiasm,” said John Wooden
