John Lindsay New York MayorJohn Lindsay New York Mayor, This would have made an interesting episode of “The Brady Bunch.” Florence Henderson, the actress who played Carol Brady happy mother dear family in the series, says that once the crabs after a night stand with John Lindsay’s career politician, who was the mayor of New York in time.

Henderson, now 77, recounts in his memoirs next was cheating on her husband during the 1960′s, and gave his best opinion when he married her and a friend attractive to movements in their drinks at the Beverly Hills.

“I felt alone. I knew I was right. So what should I do? I did,” he writes in “Life is a stage,” set for publication in September.

Henderson went home later that night and awoke with a dreadful surprise the next day, when he saw “black small things” crawling on his bed and body.

An urgent call a doctor took over the problem, known medically as pubic lice, and Lindsay sent her flowers and a note of apology.

“I guess I learned the hard way that the crabs do not discriminate, but crosses all socioeconomic levels,” says Henderson. “He must have had enough of working life. What a way to ruin a relationship.”

Lindsay, who died in 2000, was mayor of New York from 1966 to 1973. Before that, he was a member of U.S. Congress. He soon launched a bid for the Democratic nomination for president in 1972. His wife of 51 years died in 2004.

Henderson is probably best known for his work on “The Brady Bunch”, a comedy about a blended family that ran between 1969 and 1974 and remains popular worldwide.

However, the book devotes a chapter just for that part of his life, and shoot down the story so many times said that she had an off-screen romance with Barry Williams, who played his eldest son teen-age stepson, Greg Brady.

“Barry had a serious crush on me, which I understood and helped him to overcome,” says Henderson. “Say if I had a fun romp with me, I would never have done.”

The two separated at the age of 20 years, remain good friends to this day, he adds.
