John Edwards Engaged, Twilight: Eclipse sweeps almost all night like Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner of heart capture fans -

They flew into New Orleans and ended up taking home a lot of bling. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, Twilight costars of the franchise, won all the trophies in crystal People’s Choice Awards last night in Los Angeles. [January 6]

Given the popularity of three stars and the twilight Twilight series itself, not many people were shocked when Twilight Eclipse was announced as the winner in four of the five categories in which it was nominated. Tweens Twilight, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, has also won the award for favorite on-screen team.

The only loss suffered by the trio was between Twilight Robert Pattinson, who was beaten for the award of Favourite movie actor star by Tourism and celebrity actor Johnny Depp.

The trio from Twilight, which is currently filming the latest saga Twilight, Twilight: Breaking Dawn took a break from recording and flew from New Orleans to be there for the event. Celebrity actress Kristen Stewart has been a little awkward with his acceptance speech, winning the award for Favorite Movie Actress. However, fans do not really seem to care much that this award is really all about whom people want to live.

Audience Award ceremonies are the first price taken into account votes from fans for over thirty years ago, and while it is clearly more than a popularity contest to vote for the quality (I mean really Selena Gomez and the scene as a favorite Breakout Artist Justin Bieber more?), it gives fans the opportunity to talk about which Hollywood stars are hot in their minds. While many other awards shows now base their votes on the voting of fans, People’s Choice Award is still king of Hollywood regarding the popularity of celebrities and fan participation.
