Jimmy Fallon, “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” has been renewed for a third season. Fallon was quietly re-signed earlier this year with an agreement that extends their performance in the series of late night until early 2012. (Fallon pads are “out of cycle”, since it took over half of the season show in 2009.)
The measure affirms ratings of NBC’s top night lineup intact for next season: The network has been recently renovated “Last Call with Carson Daly” while Jay Leno will continue on “The Tonight Show.”
Fallon’s popularity grew percent this year to average 1.8 million viewers, while remaining stable with a 0.6 in the adult demo. In addition, he extended his lead in both measures over rival CBS ‘”The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.” Fallon and Emmy Awards celebration in August delivery prime series since 2006 – that inspired Glee forget that cold open:
