Jihadist LettermanJihadist Letterman, This is no joke – David Letterman is now No. 1 terror target. Al Qaeda terror suspects in the online forum Shumoukh al-Islam called U.S. Muslims to cut the tongue of Letterman and “break the neck” in a chilling message to an operation.

The late night comedian jihadist wrath of a madman who is nicknamed ‘Umar al-Basrawi, “Omar in Basra, Iraq,” as he joked about the death of Osama bin Laden and his successor.

In the letter, al-Basrawi, Letterman said, a Presbyterian, is Jewish and part of a “Zionist” conspiracy.

“I’ve seen with my eyes and heard with my ears from the dross of the Jews, one of his pigs, taunting the leaders of the mujahideen,” wrote al-Basrawi Tuesday, according to the translation by the Middle East Media Research Institute, a nonprofit organization that monitors online chat.

“We pray to God to paralyze the tongue, and that believers just break his neck,” continued the threat.

A source said al-Basrawi is connected to Al Qaeda because, to post on the forum Shumoukh, the author must approve the terrorist group.

Letterman, who is on vacation this week, often has screwed with the terrorists.

“So [Al Qaeda] chose a successor to Osama bin Laden, and his name was Ilyas Kashmiri,” said CBS “Late Show” star during his opening monologue on 8 June. “Well, guess what: it was flown by a U.S. drone.

“It would not work anyway, because he had a difficult start with this guy,” Letterman continued. “The story failed to Paul Revere.”

The joke refers to when Sarah Palin ruined an explanation of the role of Revere in the Revolutionary War.

Muhammad Ilyas Kashmiri, a single eye top Al Qaeda, was killed June 3.

A police officer in New York said the department is aware of the threat, and notified the CBS and the local police in Westchester, home to Letterman.

“It depends on how [the threat] rings,” an official told The Post. “You have to determine if it is to get a grassroots movement.”

Al-Basrawi destination compared to the successful hit Letterman activist Rabbi Meir Kahane was murdered in Brooklyn in 1990.

“Is there among you [a man] Sayyid Nosair, the Egyptian, which can cut the tongue of the Jewish poor and silenced forever, like his fellow Jew, Kahane?” wrote.
