Jessica Simpson $4 Million Weight Watchers, Jessica Simpson knows how to take things one step at a time. The pop songstress, 31, is in no hurry to make her way down the aisle, and as it turns out, a recent rumor that the singer is looking to gain a profit from her post-baby weight loss is untrue, according to a source.

Reports surfaced Monday that diet magnate Weight Watchers will offer the blond bombshell a $4 million deal to be a spokesperson for the brand by shedding weight with its points program.

According to the Us Weekly exclusive, Simpson would have to “lose a significant amount of weight” within one year of giving birth, and would continue to model her results afterward a la Jennifer Hudson.

The tabloid source noted that Simpson had signed with the company to shed pounds prior to her pregnancy, “but then she got pregnant, so this was the perfect compromise.”

Not true, according to a source close to the singer.

The source told E! News that rumors of the partnership are false: “There is no Weight Watchers deal.”

Simpson, who has been very public about dealing with her weight issues in the past, only confirmed her pregnancy late last month, though her prominent baby bump sparked rumors early on.

Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson, 32, have put their wedding on hold to prepare for the happy arrival of their first child.
