Jersey Shore Hoboken Deny

Jersey Shore Hoboken Deny, Hoboken, New Jersey is saying “no thanks” to MTV’s “Jersey Shore.” The show brought publicity to seaside heights, but Hoboken’s mayor denied a film permit that would allow a “Jersey Shore” spin off to film there.

The production company says the show would star “Snooki” and “J-Woww.” Insiders say safety is the reason for the permit being denied. The production company can appeal the decision.

Facebook is hoping investors give it a big thumbs up after filing to go public. The social media company filed to raise five-billion-dollars in an initial public offering today.

At the end of last year, Facebook had $845-million monthly active users and cleared a billion dollars in profit. Facebook makes its money from games, advertising and other apps. Right now, we don’t know which stock exchange Facebook will trade on, but it does say it plans to use FB as its ticker symbol. Trading won’t begin for several months.

The earliest copy of Mona Lisa may have been found. It’s the earliest known copy of Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous painting.

It was discovered at the Prado Museum in Madrid. Conservators found it hidden beneath layers of black over-painting during restoration work on a picture. Initially thought to have been a later replica of the Mona Lisa, it’s thought to have been painted at the same time as the original.
