Jennifer Lopez DivorceJennifer Lopez Divorce, Superstar singer and actress Jennifer Lopez was separated from her husband, musician and actor Marc Anthony, after seven years of marriage, the couple revealed to People magazine in a joint statement Friday. “This was a very difficult decision. We have reached an amicable conclusion in all matters,” they said in a statement.

The couple had left briefly in the 1990s and rekindled their romance in 2004. They married in a secret ceremony in June 2004 in Beverly Hills home of Lopez.

They are parents of three-year-old twins Max and Emme, born in February 2008.

“It’s a painful time for everyone involved, and we appreciate the respect our privacy at this time,” the statement added.

Also known as J. Lo, Lopez made her film debut in a leading lady in “Selena” in 1997 and went on to become a Grammy-nominated singer.

Her first studio album, “On the 6″ was released in 1999 and resulted in the number one hit single, “If You Had My Love.”

Anthony has sold over 11 million records, beginning his career as a salsa musician and Spanish actor. His 1999 hit “I Need To Know” was his first English-language crossover success.

This year, the Lopez 41-year-old topped the annual list of People magazine’s most beautiful people.

After taking time off to become a mother in 2008, the Bronx-born New York, Puerto Rico, the actress returned to light earlier this year with a starring role as one of three talent judges on “American Idol “. She also released her seventh studio album, “Love?” in April.

She is scheduled to star in the film adaptation of next year’s best-selling book “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” which will begin shooting this summer, according to the website of Lopez.

The native New Yorker currently plays Detective Nick Anthony Renata in the TNT drama television show, “Hawthorne.” According to its website, will begin a U.S. tour concert in September this year.

In 2006, the couple co-starred in the film “El Cantante,” a biopic about salsa legend Hector Lavoe’s. Anthony played Lavoe and Lopez played Lavoe’s wife, Nilda “Puchi” Roman.

As recently as May, Lopez and Anthony were scheduled to record a new show together where they could travel to 21 countries in Latin America for talent, according to the website of People magazine. It was Lopez’s third marriage and the second for Anthony, 42.
