Jennifer Lopez Carmen Sandiego, Jennifer Lopez has signed on to create a film based on the computer game “Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?”

According to Deadline, the singer and Walden Media has acquired the rights to create the live-action film and while Lopez has signed on to produce, there are rumors that she also stars as Carmen Sandiego.

“Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?” ACME Detective Carmen Sandiego is going to be naughty world’s greatest thief. His former partner and tries to follow the clues to track her down, but wonders if she is really a thief, or if she is really a hero.

The computer game education geographically became an animated series of the same name. According to Deadline, “Carmen Sandiego” is used as an educational tool in more than half of primary schools in the country.

Lopez just finished shooting “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”, starring Cameron Diaz. It also will return as judge on “American Idol” when you return the music competition for its eleventh season.

Lopez, who split from her husband Marc Anthony, in July, told Glamour magazine that she has learned a lot about love recently. Lopez, 42, and Anthony, 43, did not specify a reason for the split. The couple married in June 2004 and her son and daughter twins, Max and Emme, born in February 2008.

The actress was recently seen with actor Bradley Cooper, but the two have not commented on the nature of their relationship.

“I think to give an opportunity for something to really know someone, you want to do it outside the public eye,” Lopez Glamour. “You know the media – who want to run everything.”

The Bronx-born beauty has also recently launched a Fall 2011 collection for Kohl’s department stores. The clothing line was released on September 7. The artist has achieved acclaim with her fashion JLO by Jennifer Lopez and JustSweet lines.
