Jennifer Lopez Breaks Down Stage
October 24, 2011 by staff
“I will sing the last song he wrote about love,” said Lopez, who recently separated from her husband Marc Anthony, the public in celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Mohegan Sun on Saturday night after singing a version sound of her hit “If You Had My Love”. “Much has changed since then.”
Lopez, 42, then launched into “Until It Beats No More” while dancers staged scenes with the singer and some of the men in her past. Double Lopez danced with the guys who looked a lot like her ex, Diddy, Cris Judd and Ben Affleck.
The final pair to appear in danced the spotlight like Lopez and her ex-husband during her “American Idol” performance in May, just weeks before they announced their separation.
After she was done, Lopez told the sold-out crowd, “I took a trip to the past” – and then began to mourn as the crowd applauded.
It was not all sadness for Lopez. A photo of her twins Max and Emme, 3 ½, shone above her head and said, “No love -. And then there is love”
