Jennifer Lawrence To Sing For ‘Hunger Games’, Music producer and recent Oscar winner T. Bone Burnett was walking down the red carpet recently to support a film that 14 years of age, participating in the meeting of The Big Lebowski in New York on Tuesday.
However, MTV, always on hand, had a question to ask scoopy Burnett about his work on the adaptation of the upcoming Games hunger, the last of the young adult novel series for treatment big franchise movie.
Although The Hunger Games book takes place in a dystopian future where teenagers are sent to fight to the death in the arena, music plays an important role in the world as it is written by Suzanne Collins, the heroine Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) has a beautiful singing voice that makes her fellow contestant Peeta Hunger Games (Josh Hutcherson) falls in love with her on the first day of kindergarten, but when her father dies in a mining accident Katniss stops singing, in her way to becoming the temperate character, that are barbed at the beginning of the book.
In a key moment in the Hunger Games, however, sings a song Katniss we’ll just call “Rue de Lullaby” – if you’ve read the book, you’re probably starting to think about it, and if you have not ‘t, we will not spoil it for you further.
Burnett confirmed to MTV on the red carpet is that Lawrence will actually sing the song of the movie, and cryptically promised “will come out soon” – suggesting that perhaps the Summit the song will be announced separately and marketing for the movie, which arrive in March? Or maybe you just want to say that the movie is coming out not so long from now, which I guess is true.
