Well, the truth about Hot in Cleveland is that the beginning of the second campaign across Canada on Monday, January 24 on CTV.
The sitcom – which also stars Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Mallick and Betty White, and its origin in the U.S. cable network TV Land – driving on the television landscape on paved roads in season 1, thanks to the four familiar faces at center of the show.
“It feels contemporary, because we’re a bit racy here and there, especially this season,” says Leeves, who plays Joy on Hot to Cleveland and played Daphne on Frasier from 1993 to 2004.
“We’re kind of pushing the envelope in that four women go out together and things we’re talking about, especially things of character talk about Betty. But she has this wonderful warmth.
“My nephew, who is 19, said:” I like the show is like watching an old sitcom familiar, but it is contemporary at the same time. “I think that’s why young people love him and, you know, our obvious target.”
When we speak of “obvious target” hot in Cleveland, Leeves refers to the crowd of 35 and-up.
The principle of the issue is that three middle-aged women and-up, played by Leeves, Bertinelli and Mallick, go to Cleveland because they are considered “hot” there, as opposed to ” the hill “in their former home in Los Angeles.
“I have not heard of anyone in Cleveland in particular, but I know that the show has really, really well there,” says Leeves. “We made the cover of Cleveland recently. They like the show. ”
Because of the sitcom pedigree distribution, Hot Cleveland boasted a wide array of guest stars in his first season, everyone from Mary Tyler Moore, Carl Reiner, and Susan Lucci Joe Jonas. Leeves has revealed that one of his old buddies Frasier – Peri Gilpin who played Roz – will be appearing in season 2.
“We return to Los Angeles for an episode, then we end up with a couple of our friends in LA, and Peri playing one of my friends in LA, which is really fun,” says Leeves. “And there is a possibility that you could see another couple of faces. ”
