Jamie Foxx Michael Bishop Cousin, Jamie Foxx football scholarship Michael Bishop cousin. Did you know that Jamie Foxx played football at Texas’ Terrell High School, hoping to play quarterback as a professional for the Cowboys.
He was the school’s first QB to pass for more than 1,000 yards. It would be that experience that would get him cast in the professional football epic ‘Any Given Sunday.’

Jamie Foxx was born Eric Bishop and is the cousin of Michael Bishop, who was selected by the New England Patriots in the seventh round (227th overall) of the 1999 NFL Draft.

Bishop was a member of the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts from 2002 to 2008. He also previously played with the Arena Football League, most recently with the Grand Rapids Rampage. He was also one of the best college quarterbacks in the country during his career at Kansas State, beating out UCLA’s Cade McNown for the 1998 Davey O’Brien Award. +jamie foxx red foxx
