Jackie Kennedy Secret TapesJackie Kennedy Secret Tapes, Shortly after President John F. Kennedy ‘s assassination of Jackie Kennedy recorded a series of tapes with the historian Arthur Schlesinger Jr., at the request of Jackie, were subsequently sealed in a vault at the Kennedy Library for 50 years.

The tapes are being released shortly after Caroline Kennedy’s daughter reported that ABC News gave in exchange for its abandonment of a mini-series starring Holmes Katie Kennedy. Despite the sounds of it may end up regretting compensation.

According to the Daily Mail, the tapes reveal that Jackie believes that the then Vice President Lyndon Johnson, in collusion with a group of businessmen from Texas, was behind the assassination of JFK

He also reportedly said that the President was having an affair with an intern 19 years and had romances with movie stars like William Holden in retaliation.

Of those three things just sound credible.  No date set for the ABC broadcast, including what will probably be the last in a series of stages in the chain has issued in recent times, including Casey Anthony and special Duggard Jaycee.

* Update: ABC News says that none of this is true. “The tabloid reports about the contents of the tapes are completely wrong. ABC News is not releasing any contents of the tapes until mid-September and then is clear how out of the basis of these reports are. The actual content of tapes provides a unique and important insight into our recent past of one of the first ladies most fascinating and influential of American history. “
