J.K. RowlingJ.K. Rowling, J.K. Rowling has a mysterious website called “Pottermore,” which is not a new book, or related to the last Potter film, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,” which comes out next month. “The owls are coming together,” reads the mysterious note in a mock YouTube channel. Following the clues left in various sites of “Harry Potter” fan, a new website appeared on Thursday with a simple “Coming Soon” banner and signature of author JK Rowling. A click on the owl leads to a countdown. Presumably, in six days Rowling will make an announcement about what the website implies.

Rowling fans disappointed when he said he finished writing “Harry Potter” books after the seventh book came out in 2007. And this summer marks what many Potter fans see as the true end of the series, when the last movie, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ will premiere in theaters.

So what will be the new site? It will not be home to a new book, her spokesman told the Associated Press. However, it could be an online universe for all other characters in the Potter world. Rowling has told fans that created backstories for most beloved supporting characters, many of which were never revealed in the novels. The site name: sounds like it could be a venue for extra stories.
