Is Apple Killing IPod Classic & Shuffle?

Is Apple Killing IPod Classic & Shuffle?, You may track a reference to a “product transition” mentioned in the call last win Apple’s iPod Shuffle iPod Classic and the company can indefinitely removed, TUAW reports.
The news would not be surprising. The iPod Classic is an old-style design that is essentially a music storage device that plays music. The Shuffle is essentially just a music storage device will have smaller screen. With Apple pushing a business model based on the cloud, both teams seem relics that no longer fit within long-term strategy of the company.
It does not help that both devices are probably the least glamorous in the entire Apple product line up hardware.
I do not see how a device could become better at this time either. The backup strategy based on the classic cloud makes obsolete, and Apple iPod Nano is small enough in size that could easily take place as low-end Shuffle Apple iPod.
Apple is also planning to reveal some minor changes to its iPod touch, according to the source of TUAW. It is not known whether Apple will make these announcements in their press conference October 4.
