Invisible Children Kony 2012, A non-profit organization, the “Invisible Children,” started a movement to take down Ugandan guerilla group leader Joseph Kony and have him arrested for crimes against humanity.
Kony is the head of the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA), a group that is fighting to set up a theocratic government in Uganda.

The LRA, under the leadership of Kony, is known for its violent actions against the people of countries like northern Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan and Sudan.

The LRA group has abducted and forced around 66,000 children to fight with them. The group also forced the internal displacement of more than 2,000,000 people since its revolt began in 1986 in Uganda.
