Ind Vs Aus 2nd Odi, Kochi hosted the first visit ODI between Australia and India in three ODI series. Was abandoned due to frequent showers during the penultimate day and later in the day of the scheduled match.

In the morning there was no rain at all, but the ground staff were working hard to remove water from rain during the night of the earth especially in the foreign sector. The pitch, but was covered, but had the opportunity to decline if it rained.

In the morning when the ground was inspected by the two umpires and the match referee, he was notified that there would be no possibility of even later coincide with reduced overs for each side. But little by little, it started raining again 10 am, the game was finally called.

This has become an uphill task for India to win the remaining ODIs to maintain 2nd place in ICC ODI rankings. If India loses the series which means that if they lose both remaining games, which will fall to 4 th position in the ranking of the ICC.

If they win the series by winning both the ODIs will be able to maintain their current classification. If the other two ODIs were won by the two teams each, which means that the series made it more difficult for India to stay at number 2 because there is a parallel from ODI series between South Africa and Zimbabwe, SA in going great guns.

The second ODI is scheduled as a day game Wednesday night at Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ADA – VDCA cricket stadium, also known as Vishakhapatnam Vizag.

Also, Australia is in a strong position because they are demoralized by their 0-2 loss in two match test series against India. Australia has not lost a ODI series against India at home or abroad since 1998 and the ODI series is a test for Michael Clarke, who heads a team not much experience.

Many of the key players in Australia and Ricky Ponting, Shane Watson, Mitchell Johnson, Shaun Tait, Ryan Harris and Peter Siddle are not playing in the ODI series.

From the point of view of India’s Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Pragya Ojha and Gautam Gambhir are not playing in the ODI series. It appears to be a neck to neck battle captains. The last ODI will be played Sunday in Goa.
