Hurricane Ophelia, Bermuda prepares for tropical storm winds and strong waves as Hurricane Ophelia barrels to the north as a Category 3 storm.
Bermuda Weather Service said in a statement that the storm will pass over 100 miles east of the island Saturday night.
The National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida, said Ophelia has winds of 120 mph and was 225 miles south-southeast of Bermuda on Saturday morning.
The storm was moving north at 21 mph and is expected to begin weakening Sunday.
A tropical storm warning has been issued for Bermuda.
