‘Hunger Games’ Cast, Less than a month after welcoming the birth of baby Felix, Elizabeth Banks is in talks to join the cast of “Hunger Games.” Variety reports that the 37-year-old played the role of Effie Trinket, a bureaucrat scaly young contestants escorts district-death struggle on their own.

While Lionsgate representative declined to confirm the report, many other Hollywood hot stars and is linked to adaptation, including Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.

The film is directed by Gary Ross and scripted by Billy Ray, is the first film of a trilogy based on the best seller Suzanne Collins young-adult novel.

This weekend, I ended Mockingjay, the third and final book in the trilogy of The Hunger Games. I had to leave the book several times to mourn and then at the end, I cried again because it was over and I could not go back in time to when I had not read everything and start again. What a great series. Seriously, if you have not read them, DO, and before the film version of the first book comes out.

Speaking of which, the casting decisions for the film are easily doing …

Jennifer Lawrence was released over a month, as the heroine of the story, Katniss Everdeen, as he announced a little over a week after Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth will be playing Mellark Peeta and Gale Hawthorne, the two young men who compete for their affection. And then this week, even more casting news! Elizabeth Banks is as Effie Trinket, the escort Hunger Games for District 12, while relatively unknown and Okeniyi Amandla Stenberg Dayo play the central role of District 11 Rue taxes and threshing. Also cast: Leven Rambin and Jack Quaid (son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan) and District 1 glimmer taxes and Marvel.

There are eight main characters cast in a movie that I suspect will be as popular as “Twilight.” And there are still so many amazing characters to cast! Do not worry, filmmakers, it helps! Then dream of turning the role of Haymitch Abernathy, Primrose Everdeen, Cinna, and the president of snow. And please, share your dream casting choices in the comments! (Please be careful not to reveal any major spoiler…)

A surly drunk, Haymitch won the Games the year of hunger and is responsible for training and Peeta Katniss theirs. It is critical that the role of someone who can be nasty and nice to play with the same vigor. Obviously, a familiarity with alcohol abuse would be useful. RDJ is my first choice, but I do not mind if Bridges (who did the selfish, the reluctant hero in “True Grit”), Laurie (who knows something about playing tough “House”) or Hoffman (one more suggestion random, but interesting from a friend) grabbed the paper.
Katniss delicate ‘, good-hearted little sister is originally chosen for the Games, but Katniss volunteers to go in his place. Katniss is a badass, and Prim, while a change in terms of behavior, has its own quiet strength. Two names that hit around the beautiful role, innocent blonde Kiernan Shipka (Sally in “Mad Men”) and Elle Fanning. I imagine any of these actresses in the role and, frankly, I could not think of anyone else that when they sat down to brainstorm ideas for this piece.

The snow is very minor character in “The Hunger Games”, but plays a central role in two sequels, which are sure to be made into films too. Snow, among other things, is described as having fine hair, white, but much more important to me is that he comes off as incredibly creepy and wrong, especially since the first book, not even really have any kind of dialogue- how is it to say much. Anthony Hopkins would go bananas if he brought a little Hannibal Lecter to the function. And Malcolm McDowell has a cold steel hardness of heart that would work.
