Houston Found Dead Beverly Hilton Hotel Day Before Grammy Cause Unknown, The cover of Whitney’s Houston seventh and final studio album, “I Look At You.” – On the evening of February 11, pop singer Whitney Houston was found dead in her bathtub in her Beverly Hilton Hotel room. The cause of death is still unknown.

The night before the Grammy’s, Houston’s body was discovered just hours before she was expected to attend a Pre-Grammy Gala.

The cause of Houston’s death has not yet been released, but it is said to be released within two weeks, rather than the usual four. The toxicology results are needed before the coroner releases the official cause of death.

Houston has had problems with drugs before, checking into rehab in 2011. She has also admitted, in an Oprah Winfrey interview in 2009, to using marijuana laced with cocaine. Speculations of her drug use have been around since 2000.

Just a day after the death, Houston’s daughter, Bobby Kristina Brown, was rushed to the hospital for stress and anxiety but was later released.

Her funeral was held at the New Hope Baptist Church, where Whitney grew up singing, on Saturday February 18, and was invitation only. After the funeral, Houston was buried in Fair View Cemetery in Westfield, N.J. He father, John Russell Houston Jr., was also buried there in 2003.
