#Hottestdayoftheyear Weather warning, Temperatures could rise to 30 ° C in some places, with the West and Midwest get the warmer weather.

Unfortunately, Met Éireann also said that the heat wave will not last much longer.
Forecaster John Eagleton said the heat wave current was due to a warm air mass that has moved across the country from southern Europe.
“So we’re getting some of that through the weekend and during the day,” he said. “That will change as the weather pattern becomes cooler Atlantic and outdoors feeling.
“[There will be] less moisture, so [and] colder nights, you will be greeted by some”.
