Honda CRV RecallHonda CRV Recall, Honda says that if drivers of vehicles with automatic transmission are stuck in the mud or snow, moving several times between neutral reverse transmission, and the unit can be used in the secondary transmission shaft bearing.

If the bearing is damaged, the vehicle could be stopped and the driver might not be able to put the transmission in park.

2005-2010 Honda Accord four-cylinder, 2007-2010 Honda CR-V, Honda Element and 2005-2008 The solution: Honda reprograms the computer transmission of “smooth transition” when the transmission is shifted between reverse, neutral, and unity. The company has received no reports of injuries caused by the problem. The retreat will begin August 31.

Number of vehicles potentially affected: 1.5 million 2005-2010 four-cylinder Honda Accord, 2007-2010 Honda CR-V, Honda Element 2005-2008 vehicles
