Holland Texas RangersHolland Texas Rangers, What Derek Holland’s performance!
Texas Rangers with their final two games to one in the World Series, the left-hander 25 years old, led a two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts in the ninth inning against the Cardinals lineup powerful.

After a walk from one to Rafael Furcal, manager Ron Washington went to the mound to a long discussion with the Netherlands, who later said he was “begging” to finish the job.

It seemed that Washington could give the child a chance, but then stepped aside and said the bullpen for more Neftali Feliz, bringing boos from the crowd.

Holland greeted fans as he walked to the dugout. Happy retirement Albert Pujols with a fly to center field and struck out Matt Holliday with two to secure the 4-0 victory in Texas.

The World Series is tied at two games apiece and return to St. Louis for Game 6. Before that, Game 5 is Monday night in Texas.

Holland was still throwing 96 mph in the ninth inning with a chance in the first complete game in World Series white since Josh Beckett jewel of Florida to clinch the 2003 title at Yankee Stadium.

Rangers fans chanted the name of Holland.

Crowd roars as Holland launches a strike last third Lance Berkman to end the seventh inning.

Berkman did not like the call, but it certainly looked like a strike.

Holland, a 16-game winner during the regular season, is launching a gem. He walked two and needed less than 100 pitches to get through seven innings.

Nolan Ryan Holland applauded their approval as he leaves the mound with six shutout innings to his credit.

Curve of the Netherlands has been particularly effective. He got a double play ball in the fifth and Craig Allen struck a second time to end the sixth.

Somehow, St. Louis starter Edwin Jackson left behind only 1-0 despite six walks in 5 1-3 innings. The race took Josh Hamilton RBI double in the first.

However, the score changes quickly. Mike Napoli hit a three-run homer in the first release of Mitchell Boggs for the Rangers 4-0 in the sixth.

That call to the bullpen failed to Cardinals manager Tony La Russa, who has taken over splendid postseason. Jackson seemed finished after 109 pitches, but Boggs could not do the job.

Sooner or later, the Texas bats were forced to leave.

Napoli is the first receiver with two homers in a World Series since Mike Piazza in 2000.

Holland works quarter 1-2-3. Pujols grounded out to first, giving you 0 of 2 at night, and with the mouth “wow” as he walked back to the dugout. He may have thought he had good pitch to hit.
