Herriman Fire

Herriman Fire, About 1,400 homes have been evacuated in the Herriman area, due to a wildfire. Strong winds have spread the fire on the slope of the entire mountain. Herriman fire was ignited by a fire of machine guns in the camp, “Williams reports, where a guard workout was in progress. Nicole Martin (Herriman spokesman) told reporters that one hundred firefighters battled to extinguish the fire. Currently no injuries were reported.

The police and local officials were working in collaboration to broadcast evacuation notices to ensure the safety of people. The authorities are also upgrading the district through Twitter.

The authorities have ordered more than 100 guards to help with the task of firefighting. The governor of Utah is about the situation. He told the media that Herriman fire was still strong and the task of extinction depends on the weather, especially wind. The strong wind had pushed the flames down to living area. An emergency has been declared by the governor, though he has asked FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) for assistance. FEMA has agreed to pay a little help from fire management.

Herriman High School has been designated as an evacuation center fire has spread over a larger area.

Residents of Salt Lake County “shall not use mobile phones to keep phone lines available for emergency calls.

The fire had burned two homes Herriman on Sunday evening and many others were in danger. The inhabitants were evacuated, but will lose all worldly possessions if their homes are not saved.
