Heidi Jones, The day dawned cloudy for Heidi Jones, charged with giving the weather forecast on Channel 7/ABC, who was arrested for allegedly lying to say they had tried to rape her while jogging in Central Park, as published by the New York Post today.
The ‘Woman time’ was, according to the Post-charged with filing a false report in relation to the attempted rape and, if found guilty, could face up to one year imprisonment or a fine of $ 1.000.
The story goes that Jones, 37, claimed she was attacked on September 24 by a Hispanic man, between 30 and 40, who took it by surprise from behind and dragged her into an area where he tried to rape attempt was thwarted when two alleged transients came to his aid.
However, the police found inconsistencies in the history of Jones.
One was that she waited two months, until November 24, to report the alleged attack. Another was that, apparently, Jones told authorities that three days earlier – on 21 November – the same man harassed her saying: “I know you went to the police.”
Police detectives conducted an investigation that included review of the area where the events allegedly occurred and talk to witnesses. Having received no evidence, police officers and finally confronted, she admitted that it had created history for support because I was going through difficult times.
And apparently, the latter has succeeded. Today on its Web site Facebook, one of his supporters wrote: “Heidi, no matter what they say the news and newspaper articles, I support you one hundred percent. The best thing for you, forever. “But otherwise the question: “Did you file a false police report and now you’re arrested?
