Hawking Says Earth Is Doomed

Hawking Says Earth Is Doomed, Stephen Hawking knows a thing or two about how the universe works. So when the renowned physicist issues a warning that our time on Earth is running out, it’s probably worth hearing him out.
Hawking recently told an audience at L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center that, if mankind would like to continue existing, we need to get off this rock of ours – pronto (well, in science years). Hawking said human beings “won’t survive another 1,000 years without escaping our fragile planet,” and that we need to continue space exploration so we can get off this sinking ship called Earth. Time to rethink those NASA budget cuts?
Renowned British physicist Stephen Hawking warns human beings won’t survive “without escaping” from the “fragile” planet. His gloomy forecast is people will become extinct on Earth within current the millennium.
Speaking at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles the 71-year-old scientist called for further exploration of space to guarantee the future of mankind, the Belfast Telegraph reports.
“We must continue to go into space for humanity. If you understand how the universe operates, you control it in a way,” Professor Hawking said, adding that “we won’t survive another 1,000 years without escaping our fragile planet.”
Space exploration has however been struggling with the global financial crisis and has too proven subject to spending cuts. In particular NASA’s planetary science budget, which is seen as crucial to finding habitable planets, was slashed by $300 million this year.
At the same time, the Mars race has not been abandoned.
On Monday NASA concluded from Curiosity Rover’s findings that the red planet is gradually turning cold after losing a large part of its original atmosphere.

NASA only sends “the best and brightest” into space. What happens when our spieces decides to leave?
Are those “best and brightest” going to leave the rest of us behind?
And go where Dr. Hawking? Have you got any bright ideas about that? I think the awfulness of his illness has warped his mind into seeing nothing but doom and darkness in every corner. Just because he’s a genius doesn’t mean every opinion that falls out of his head is a fact. Time for breakfast!
When just about the smartest man on this planet speaks and says something, I think we should start listening. The Nasa budget to land on a astroid in 2025 is a joke. The real reason is the second smartest man on this planet probably works for Nasa and said we are going to get hit. The warning signs are starting. Russia is just the beginning and what is next?
We have the tech to built in outer space and should get all the world leaders together to start something so we make it to the next century.
This theory could be reversed if humans would start respecting earth. Our life for convenience is going to bite us in the ass. Along with GMOs, toxic chemicals we use(including slaughterhouse waste), etc. That’s why humans wont be around. Only the people who are smart and have money will make it.
