Harry Potter Reviews, The grand finale of the Harry Potter series is finally unveiled today in thousands of theaters around the world. More and 132 million were sold in ticket sales before the film was released yet. Many predict that this film will become more and long-awaited $ 150 million in ticket sales in general. Sure, those numbers are impressive, but it’s almost chump change considering the gazillions of dollars the franchise has won everything.
“It’s the phenomenon of the planet’s biggest movie, I remember when” ET “was the biggest movie -. Win all the time and 870 million Harry Potter, you are talking” and 6 billion, “said actor Richard Griffiths, who plays Harry’s Uncle Vernon.
Since winning movie franchise in the history of Hollywood, many wonder why the Harry Potter series has been virtually ignored by the Academy, except for technical reasons, music and costume categories. “It’s sad that only technical and artistic awards not received,” said Griffin.
Long time fan of the books and movies, Tracy Cameron said: “The film surpassed all my expectations … I do not understand why the Oscars have not given these films their due.”
As flourishing as the Harry Potter has been in the past decade, the perplexity of Cameron is not reasonable. Potter movie theme music barns instant recognition second only to Steven Spielberg’s Jaws. Harry eyeglasses have been given such cultural importance as the ruby?? Slippers from The Wizard of Oz. So why not any Harry Potter movie has recognized the achievements?
“Historically, this type of child or genre films has not been a big winner of the Oscar. Voters have never felt they were worthy of an Academy Award,” said Richard course, a film critic for Canada AM. He continues: “Not to say that ‘Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ is not worthy of an Oscar nomination. But I do not think we’ll see any action or direction of nominations this year for the band Potter. ”
Despite these unwritten rules of the Academy, the hope still alive for the 2012 nominations. Perhaps some see with good eyes the franchise because of its cultural impact and the end of this era.
“It is possible, but it will be an uphill battle,” Gregg Kilday, film editor of The Hollywood Reporter, as reported to CTVNews.ca. “Early reviews of” Deathly Hallows 2 ‘have been solid. But I doubt we’ll see David Yates caught a nomination for best director in 2012 … Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and other directors set could be competing for Oscar gold next year. Yates does not have a reputation for these types of “continued Kilday. Perhaps the young stars of the films – Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, or – do not have the power to win acting awards either. Went into the movies Potter with little or no previous experience in acting and did not have the stature to make Oscar voters, “Kilday said.
However, Kilday is a ray of hope for the actors Alan Rickman and Ralph Fiennes. “They’re going to have to muster much magic to carry it out … but these guys have the acting chops and the height of Hollywood to have any chance to fight.”
Since the comments of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2 have been almost completely positive, maybe, just maybe … to receive this most prestigious recognition. But if not, the fans around the world are and always will love their favorite wizard movies.
