Harry Potter Cast, Tom Felton has revealed that he and several cast members of Harry Potter feared being fired from the franchise when they learned that studio bosses were planning to launch new actors for some roles. The UK has enjoyed a season of a decade as assistant villain Draco Malfoy alongside the likes of Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.
“Everyone feared that after the fourth movie (sic) they would get rid of us and start again with new children,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying in an interview for your website FeltBeats.com.
“So yes, we are very proud to have come all the way, so to speak,” he added.
Harry Potter, Tom Felton feared he would be set aside half their time filming the franchise to make way for a group of new players.
The UK has enjoyed a season of a decade as assistant villain Draco Malfoy alongside the likes of Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.
But before the fourth film in the series, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, rumors that the studio bosses are planning the project to replace the main roles – and Felton supports several cast members are worried about losing their jobs.
In an interview for his website FeltBeats.com says, “Everyone feared that after the fourth movie (sic) they would get rid of us and start again with new children. So yes, we are very proud to have come all the way, so to speak. ”
And Felton also reveals that auditioned for the role of Potter and his best friend Ron Weasley, but is convinced that no one could touch these characters, and Radcliffe and Rupert Grint.
He adds: “You know, nobody could have done the job as good as Daniel, Rupert and above all, you know, the genius of comedy, but (I did the audition). No doubt, things would have been very different. I’m not sure I would have rocked the red hair, and I did the blonde. “
