Harry Hill ITV TV Burp, Harry Hill has filmed his final episode of TV Burp, to be aired tonight on ITV. The long-running show has come to an end after months of speculation. But despite rumours that he had been convinced to stay, the 47-year-old comic confirmed to the studio audience this week that they were witnessing the final taping after 11 years.

Hill had promised fans a ‘huge’ finale, and tonight’s episode will feature regulars including Brian Belo, the Lord Sugar puppet and Wagbo, the Daily Mirror report.

An ITV insider told the paper: ‘Harry has been a hugely popular part of the ITV schedule for many years, and the management would undoubtedly prefer him to stay here.

‘There will be many more discussions with Harry over the coming weeks, and we are hopeful a deal can yet be reached.’

Last month it was reported that ITV bosses were desperately trying to lure hill to stay with the broadcaster with a £4million deal.

The Sun even alleged that executives had roped in Simon Cowell to use his influence in convincing Harry to stay, as some are concerned that losing TV Burp audiences would affect ratings for other Saturday night shows.
