Harold Camping President Of Family, A newly contrite Harold Camping said to his followers in an audio stream last week are at a loss to explain why the world did not end on 21 October, as predicted wisely.
Camping was the third time, president of the family network in Oakland Radio, had predicted that the Rapture on a specific date – only to be wrong. Two of these forecasts are not produced in the last six months. Camping also wrote a book, 1994?, Which erroneously set the date of the Apocalypse in the year of the same name.
More recently, Camping said the world would “probably” the end of this month. When the continuity of the world proved him wrong, which aired last week to apologize silenced the believers and nonbelievers alike.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Camping said in his statement that the third prediction was “embarrassing” for Family Radio, and mused aloud, “Why do not the return of Christ on October 21?” He also admitted that it was rude of him to tell non-believers who remain on Earth, while the saved were raptured.
Perhaps most interesting is that Camping plans to return to their dark numerological studies the Bible, according to the chronicle, perhaps to see if the fourth time be the charm of its business of prophecy. The preacher of 90 years old, suffered a stroke after the rapture did not materialize May 21, 2011.
“I’ve been reviewing my own notes more carefully than ever,” he said. “And I find that there is no language in the Bible that we still have to look very carefully.”
