Happy Feet Eaten, A penguin who became a worldwide sensation after grounding more than 2,000 miles from home to Antarctica has been eaten by a killer whale, is fear. The emperor, called Happy Feet by rescuers, is believed to have met his final days after being released into the Southern Ocean.
It was two and a half months after he was found wandering on a beach in New Zealand.
He ended up there after getting disoriented and swim the wrong way.
The animal also needs surgery after the messy eating snow and sand. He had to have four operations in Wellington Zoo, where experts gave a 50 percent survival.
Happy Feet eventually recovered completely and was released earlier this month.
Sirtrack, which was after his trip, said the penguin had been making good progress to 09 September – covering 15 to 20 miles per day in the troubled waters.
But Happy Feet is now believed was eaten by a killer whale week in his company after Sirtrack not get the signal for three days.
The crawler can only transmit when it is above the water surface, suggesting Happy Feet has not arrived by air in three days.
It is also unlikely that the device has emerged as the device designed to stay on the penguin until it moves into the new year.
Sirtrack A spokesman confirmed there was a possibility that had eaten, adding. “That is what makes the world go round”
