Handcuffed Man Steals Police CarHandcuffed Man Steals Police Car, A handcuffed man steals a police cruiser in northeast Indiana, and now he’s on the run. He even radioed police for help in finding the car’s cigarette lighter and a key to unlock his hands.

Police say he somehow escaped from the back of the vehicle and drove it away after he was arrested on drug charges in Kouts, which is a small Indiana town about 50 miles southeast of Chicago.

Police found the police car wrecked and submerged in water.

The suspect, 22-year-old William Francis Blankenship, wasn’t with the car and police are still looking for him.
