Gwar Cory Smoot Dead

Gwar Cory Smoot Dead, Richmond heavy metal guitar legend Cory Smoot, of Midlothian was found dead on tour bus GWAR before crossing into Canada today (Thursday) after a concert in Minneapolis, a spokesman for the band’s label.
Smoot, whose stage name was Flattus Maximus, was the lead guitarist and one of the Richmond-based composers of GWAR, a heavy metal troupe known around the world for their homemade costumes, the music, mock executions and of wrestling as pranks.
He had been a member of the Grammy-nominated twice, 25 years old, the band since 2002.
Smoot was the lead guitarist for Richmond-based and factor Mensrea Locus.
It is unclear what caused the death of Smoot. Dave Brockie, GWAR frontman, Mark sent a message of Holmberg CBS-6, saying that they know nothing and tell you more on Friday.
Smoot was part of the class of 1995 in Clover Hill in Midlothian and was approximately 34 years of age.
One of his classmates Clover Hill, recalled his love of music and people, and how it would go to GWAR shows as a young teenager, dreams of joining the band.
According to the online biography of Smoot of GWAR, which “operates its own live sound and mastery of the company entitled Karma Productions and is also known as Hoyo studies of slaves… Cory has made several different recording projects as a musician paid as well as some studio work for television networks and several world-renowned artists recording. ”
Along with writing some of the recent songs GWAR, who also recorded.
It is unclear what will happen to the current GWAR tour, heading to Canada.
One of the previous guitarists who played Maximus was Flattus Peter Lee, who was shot in the abdomen and nearly killed when some members of GWAR were victims of an attempted carjacking in Washington DC in 1993. Lee managed to return to the band for a while, at a time on tour with a colostomy.
