Groupon:As far as I’m concerned about Chicago is just a place that your access to flights delayed overnight because of bad weather, terrible eight months of the year (The picture is not Chicago, but how I imagine). But one of the writers here at TechCrunch star, Lina Rao, already made the decision voluntarily to move there.
Why this move? No, not fishing for them, despite the fact that this happened to us before. And it’s not out to do her the same thing, which we had to bear as well.
No, what happened is, Groupon make her husband, Suneel Gupta, an offer he can not refuse. He moves from his current job as director of laboratories, Mozilla vice president of product development in Groupon.
We’ve tried everything to get a yen to stay here in Silicon Valley. He pointed out that the terrible weather in Chicago was the tactic that one did not succeed. She also suggested that it does not continue to live here and see Suneel on weekends alternates. It also did not succeed. It expected that the divorce is apparently out of the question as well.
Fortunately, although we talked about to stay on and work remotely. Lose the sense of camaraderie with the members of our team shortly after, and I’m not happy we will not have her around in the office. But promised to come visit regularly, so that’s something.
But I still hope to do Groupon faceplant and out of business or something, and open the door for the yen to move back here. Unfortunately, however, their work explode (well), and this is not likely any time soon.
So now I just say congratulations to Suneel and Groupon, and try not to be negative for the very aggressive towards yen.
