Groom Sues Photographer

Groom Sues Photographer, Unhappy with his scrapbook wedding, the groom of Manhattan is suing the photographers and from 48,000 to recreate the ceremony and take new photos.

But things are complicated by the fact that Todd J. Remis and his wife, Milena Grzibovska, divorced and is believed to be back in his native country, Latvia, reports The New York Times.

Remis is furious that the men of H & H photographers missed the final 15 minutes – including the last dance and bouquet toss – at her wedding six years ago in Tarrytown.

He wants the studio to reimburse the cost of 4100 and services, and payment to recreate the event with new photographers.

Justice Doris Ling-Cohan of State Supreme Court in Manhattan has dismissed most of the reasons for the demand and a recreation of the wedding is very unlikely. However, she allowed things to proceed to determine whether H & H violated his contract.

“This is a case where it seems that the ‘misty watercolor memories” and “scattered images of smiles … made in the marriage were more important than reality,” wrote Judge Ling-Cohan. “Although the marriage did not last, the fury of the plaintiff on the quality of the photographs and the video continues.”
