Google Ebooks, Today, Google announced the launch of Google ebooks, the official entry of the company on the market ebook red. I wonder how this will affect sales cookbook. Cookbooks are unique in that they are part of a small group of books that people love to own in its entirety, rather than download and forget. One of the things I like cookbooks is the tactile sensation of the actual book in my hand. I like the heaviness of it and my ability to browse page by page, drawing endless recipes and photography tasty food. Let us now baking our iPad or Android? There are good chances that this will happen. When we want a new cookbook, we’ll go to the ebookstore Google, you can buy the book for the appropriate reading device (meals, Kindle, everything you own) and download it. Instant gratification is amazing, but I wonder how this will translate to the kitchen.
If I buy all my cookbooks will be online, I end up losing the pleasure that comes from holding the real book in my hand and rifling through it for fun looking for a good recipe? Is my iPad getting splattered and stained my kitchen along in the kitchen? I hope not. I’ll buy a special skin for that.
