Goodluck Jonathan:Goodluck Jonathan has become the President of Nigeria after President Umaru Yar’Adua died at 9 pm on Wednesday at the age of 58. Yar’Adua was suffering from kidney problems for a long time and was taken out of the limelight recently in a hospital in Saudi Arabia.
Jonathan was chosen as interim president just three months before the next election is due next year. Until then, Jonathan will be the President now. The elections are expected to be held in April next year. Now you are selecting the vice president, once approved by the Senate.
