Giovanni Ramirez, Los Angeles police say they have the “primary aggressor” in the beating Byran Stow today behind bars. Police raided an apartment building east of Hollywood this weekend and arrested Ramirez Giovanni 31 years of age, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
He was arrested yesterday morning, three miles from Dodger Stadium in Stow, a Giants fan, was savagely beaten after the opening match of 31 March. According to the media, Ramirez has a history of charges of robbery and firearms.
He is being held without bail. More than 20 detectives have been working on for the past two months, relentlessly pursuing the driver and asking the media and the public for help. Last week, the police increased the reward for information leading to the arrest of the attackers and 200,000.
Parole Officer Ramirez said police tipped off after noticing that one of the men he had overseen a new tattoo on his neck, which was clearly an attempt to cover up an old brand that had been described by witnesses in attack. Officers are still-hunting for one of the suspects and a woman who they say drove the getaway car. LAPD Chief Charlie Beck told reporters that it is a huge crack in the case and encouraged the other suspects to turn himself in.
Ramirez, who was arrested in an apartment building east of Hollywood, a poor and hard it’s been riddled with bullets, is accused of kicking Stow several times while he was on the floor, unconscious. Two men while walking back to his car after the baseball game attacked Stow. He was beaten into a coma, because he is a fan of the Giants.
Stow, a paramedic and father of two remains in a coma at San Francisco General Hospital. Doctors have said that if Stow awake, could have significant brain damage.
