Gilad Shalit Release, U.S. Home lawmaker Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday welcomed the release of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit after 1941 days of captivity, Hamas, saying that she shared with her family of “joy and relief.”
“For the Shalit family – in fact, to all citizens of Israel, to all who have worked and longed for the release of Gilad – today is cause for hope, but also a reminder of our need to resolve “he said in a statement.
