George Lucas Red Tails Trailer, The “Red Tails” trailer has exploded on the Internet, at last, and certainly looks impressive It’s been a while since I saw any war movie that aerial scenes as impressive as “Red Tails” is showing. The trailer comes from Yahoo, and although it was a long time coming (about 23 years in the dream, to be exact), if it takes its sweet time to get to the movies is the price he paid for the fight scenes Air look as gorgeous as they do, then it’s a price you are willing to pay.
“Red Tails” follows the true story of the Tuskegee Airmen who fought with the Allied forces in World War II. The men were separated black Tuskegee pilots who were given the second highest rate of aircraft and missions after being sent off in combat. But when he got a dangerous mission – to provide safe escort the terrorists in broad daylight – Tuskegee pilots approached the challenge to fight for their country and against racial discrimination that had been holding.
The film stars Terrence Howard, Bryan Cranston, Cuba Cooding Jr, Method Man, Ne-Yo and Nate Parker and is directed by Hemingway “Treme” Anthony. “Red Tails” has been something of a passion project for George Lucas, who began developing the idea in 1988. It was not until 2007 that John Ridley came aboard to write the screenplay for the film, then the following year that Hemingway was registered as a director.
