George Clooney’s Birthday
May 6, 2011 by Post Team
George Clooney’s Birthday, Happy Birthday, George Clooney! The original live sxy man turns 50 today. Clooney has been in the spotlight for decades, and their fans have been growing, both in age and as an actor. Clooney seems to be one of those actors that continue to improve with age.
Clooney has served as a doctor, a lawyer and a thief, to name a few. He has been nominated for five Academy Awards and in 2006 won Best Supporting Actor in “Syriana.” His most recent nomination for “Up in the Air” in 2009.
While his acting career is excellent, his humanitarian work cannot be ignored. He started the organization “Not on Our Watch” and has helped in Sudan.
He was also appointed a messenger of peace of the United Nations in 2008. He was also named the “sexiest man alive” by People magazine twice, once in 1997 and then in 2006. Here’s a look at George Clooney in recent years.
There is the old adage that men improve with age. Not all men mind you (beer bellies come to mind), but George Clooney descripteion fit that well – and he turns 50 today!
And how is Mr. Itchy celebrating his big day? We’re not really sure, there is a big party planned, but the Italian hot girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, gave her a sxy gift in the form of nked PETA ads.
Unfortunately, Clooney has not been making their rounds in public lately. We miss seeing that sxy mug on the cover of our favorite magazines. Luckily, we’re going to see the child’s birthday in a couple of movies this year.
Clooney is the star of the descendants, a film about “a baron of the land [that] tries to reconnect with his two daughters after his wife suffers from a boating accident,” according to IMDB. Clooney is playing Matt King; we’re assuming is the Baron of land mentioned in the synopsis. Is expected in theaters in December.
Also will be starring in The Ides of March along with Ryan Gosling and Marisa Tomei. Clooney plays Governor Mike Morris in the movie about “a staff member of an idealistic rookie presidential candidate [who] gets a crash course on dirty politics during his stay in the campaign.” Is scheduled for release in October.
We will deal with his absence from the public eye now, George. We call our birthday gift to you. All bets are off this fall, however.
