George Anthony For Caylee’s Law, A request for state governments to adopt “Caylee law” has already achieved more than 1.1 million signatures, and now has a follower: Caylee’s grandfather, George Anthony, the father of the woman acquitted of murdering the girl 2 years old, BlogPost reports The Washington Post.
The bill is a felony if the parents report that a child is lost in 24 hours.
Casey Anthony did not report her missing daughter. She was the mother of Casey, Cindy Anthony, who eventually called the police 31 days after the disappearance of Caylee.
Orlando Casey was convicted of lying to law enforcement officials, but was acquitted of first-degree murder. She is given credit for time served and released from prison within a week.
In BlogPost, Melissa George Anthony Bell advises that says it is investigating the law and hopes to help get it passed in Florida. Anthony says that BlogPost approval of the bill to keep “the memory of my granddaughter goes.”
