Gentry Arkansas, (BBC News) — John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch, his girlfriend, are suspected of robbing a beauty parlor in Gentry, Arkansas.

Ms. Welch was last seen Sunday at a restaurant in Santa Maria, Montana.

McCluskey, imprisoned for attempted murder, escaped from a prison in Arizona on July 30. Ms. Welch is accused of helping her escape.

Marshals Service U.S. McCluskey said has grown a beard and mustache short while Ms. Welch has dyed her hair blond.

An official with the Marshals Service said that while the couple who stole Kut and beauty salon in Arkansas Curl matched McCluskey and descriptions of Ms. Welch, who have not yet been positively linked to the scene.

“We’re not taking our eyes off some of the other leads they were following in the north-west,” said Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Tracy rich to the BBC by telephone from Phoenix, Arizona.

“We are still focusing our search in south-western Canada and Montana, but we definitely have to determine whether or not they were in Gentry this morning.”

The Associated Press reported that Ms. Welch’s mother lived near Gentry, a small town of about 3,000 in the northwest of the state near the border with Missouri.
Interpol alert

Authorities have been searching both sides of the border between the U.S. and Canada in recent days, believing McCluskey, 45, and Ms. Welch, 44, hiding in Montana and southern Canada.

The international police agency Interpol to the couple added to its list of fugitives on Wednesday, the circulation of a notice to the police in 188 countries.

“Members of the public were urged not to approach them but instead immediately report any event to your local police,” said Jean-Michel Louboutin, Interpol’s executive director of the police.

Authorities say Tracy McCluskey and other inmates Daniel Renwick Province and escaped from the Arizona State Prison in Kingman, Arizona, after Ms. Welch, who is also a cousin McCluskey, wire cutter pulled up a nearby prison.

Renwick was arrested on August 1 and the province was captured on Monday.

McCluskey was serving a sentence of 15 years in prison after being convicted of attempted murder, aggravated assault and discharging a firearm.
