Gene Simmons Married, Bassist Gene Simmons of KISS married long time girlfriend Shannon Tweed, Saturday night in an outdoor ceremony in the gardens of the landmark Beverly Hills Hotel, according to People magazine.
Simmons, 62, and Tweed, 54, have been together for 28 years and have two children, Nick, 22, and Sophie, 19, who was the maid of honor.
The 400 guests included Hugh Hefner, Bill Maher and members of KISS. Paul Stanley, one of the two members of KISS, was in the wedding party, according to People.
Tweed ivory wore a Priscilla of Boston, a label owned by the girlfriend of David, which is closing after 31 December.
The dress was one of the three Tweed used during the event, People reported.
Tweed also wore diamonds and 2.5 million for the first dance, not including the engagement ring, according to TMZ.
Michael Raven crafted jewelry, including a bracelet and 420,000, TMZ reported.
The couple became engaged last summer when Simmons proposed in Belize in the final season of the reality show “Gene Simmons Family Jewels”.

The wedding invitation on the website People said, “C**ktail Attire requested class, although we know that some outfits Rockstar will be used.” It was signed by the “soon to be team Tweed-Simmons.”
In the second part of the invitation, the couple’s children made a family portrait and wrote that the family now will join as “Tweed-Simmons team,” and “annoying as usual, ie, hopes you’re in it “.
