Gary Sinise And Car Accident, Officials with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation said actor Gary Sinise has postponed a benefit concert by his Lt. Dan Band in Martinsville after being involved in a car accident as a passenger.

Gary Sinise had been scheduled to be the grand marshal for Sunday’s Sprint Cup race at Martinsville Speedway.

Sinise was scheduled to perform in the concert at Martinsville High School on Saturday night. The concert is a fundraiser for Cpl. J.B. Kerns, a triple-amputee, and will be held at a date to be determined, the organizers say.

Sinise was also supposed to attend Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Martinsville Speedway and serve as grand marshal.

John Hodge, spokesman for the foundation, said Sinise was not seriously injured in the accident.

No other details were immediately available.
